THE SMELL OF FEAR

Just when I begin to believe that our Democratic members of Congress have discovered their spines, then along comes something that makes me doubt whether or not they ever had a spine.

Gannon/Guckert-gate is the biggest scandal to hit the Bush Administration since a plump intern named Monica Lewinsky got Bill Clinton impeached for a blow job in the Oval Office. Yet Democrats are not playing up the most obvious angle: that a known male prostitute had access to the President of the United States. If the President's name was Bill Clinton, every media outlet in America would be savaging him just like they did in 1998.
