WHAT IS OUR DREAM?

THIS MAN HAD A DREAM. THE DEMOCRACTIC PARTY DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A PLAN.

Why is it that when we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we always reflect on his dream, yet fail to realize that in the midst of all that dreaming he did, the good Reverand actually had a plan to achieve those dreams?

The Democratic Party certainly has neither. They dream of the day when they can retake Congress and become the majority party again, yet they fail to plan as to how they are going to accomplish their dreams when they consistently keep bowing down, or cowering down in the face of the opposition. Why should we fight for a party that no longer fights for us?

Dr. King's dream was that we would all be treated equally, economically, educationally, environmentally, spiritually. His dream is certainly not being manifested when the Democratic Party refuses to exercise it's constitutional rights to oppose policies, legislation and judicial appointments because it is the morally correct thing to do. They don't fight for us in any way that matters, and on the day that would have been Dr. King's 76th birthday, I'm declaring here and now, that rather than wait for a political party that is supposed to fight my battles, I will damn well fight my own. Now, while that may not sound very "Christian", nonetheless, we need to stop being too lazy to fight for what's right ourselves.

The party of Biden, Lieberman, Feinstein and other pontificating blowhards, have already shown us who they will fight for, and it's not US, the people who vote for them. It is time to clean house, but while we clean house, we take back our country ourselves, and continue to try and advance the dream Dr. King gave his life for.

So, let's ask ourselves: WHAT IS OUR "DREAM"?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR. KING. YOU CONTINUE TO BE MISSED, AND I APOLOGIZE THAT WE ARE NOT FULFILLING WHAT YOU LEFT FOR US TO DO. I PROMISE TO CONTINUE ASSISTING IN THE MANIFESTATION OF YOUR DREAM, WITH EVERY BREATH IN MY BODY. YOU DESERVE THAT YOUR DREAM BE REALIZED IN ALL OF US.
