SEN. BARACK OBAMA; TRIANGULATING TWIT?

AMERICA'S NEXT FIRST FAMILY? NOT SO FAST...

...So sez Rep. Maxine Waters (D-California) of the Out of Iraq Caucus. And she's right. NOW is the time for either of them to stop being clones of one another and take a clear stand on the Iraq War. From all accounts, these two are not only going to be battling for the African-American vote, but they will also be engaging in Battles Royale to distinguish themselves from each other.

In my opinion, it would serve Obama right, because I'm tired of the triangulating twit he's become. He came to DC and learned how to play the Beltway Insider game a little too well for this African-American. I wish the media would quit serving him up to African-Americans as the next MLK or Malcolm, because those brothers put their lives on the line when it mattered. Already, he's concerned he might catch a bullet on the campaign trail. Well, Senator Obama, if you had not believed your own press clippings, maybe you wouldn't be worrying like you are now. I like how sister Maxine is ignoring her own skeletons and calling you out to stand up for something, instead of pussy-footing around and trying not to be defined by the media or your now-adoring public.

The way I see it, Obama threatens to desecrate all those brothers stood for. I also don't like when he claims ethnicity when it's convenient, and runs away from it as fast as the former Rep. Harold Ford, when it's necessary. Also on my crap list regarding Mr. Obama are the following:

His having to be dragged by Senate leadership to vote with the Caucus against cloture in the Supreme Court Confirmation "Sudden Sam" Alito;

His vote to confirm Condoleeza Rice for Secretary of State and make the argument that sounded suspiciously like he voted for her because of the "Jim-Crowism" of some African-Americans who are all to happy to see a Black Face in a Perceived High Place. I say "perceived" because for all she has done as Secretary of State (demonstrating massive levels of incompetence) we can almost be inclined to forgive her predecessor, Colin Powell, for selling the world what he knew then, and what we know now, was outright lies to start a global war.

His vote to pass the Net Neutrality Bill and his sorry, triangulating attempt to defend himself over on DKos. Voting for the above should be enough to get you disqualified from running for President.
Other things that I may not have included from my DKos posts are voting for the Iraq War (glad John Kerry got the memo, finally), voting for the BK bill, voting against Net Neutrality, and voting to continue sending money into the Black Hole known as the Iraq War. Hillary has yet to apologize for her vote; although she's doing her best to distance herself from it. Obama ran on an anti-war platform; Illinois voters must be pissed to learn he's no longer anti-war, and, in fact, favors part of Bush's plan to send more troops to Iraq.

We want someone who is as different from the current Looney Tunes in the White House from Al Sharpton. We want someone who makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X. We want a Russ Feingold-Jim Webb type, with some Harry Belafonte thrown in for flavor. And neither Obama or Hillary has it; they're blander than vanilla, but well-trained in the art of circular firing squads, triangulation and fence-straddling. They, like Bush, surround themselves with people who say what they want to hear, but can't give them the real deal advice for fear of losing their jobs.

Hillary is referred to on some of the blogs as this. And here's my reasons why I can't vote for her in 2008:

And I've now coined the phrase for Obama - Triangulating Twit. Until he proves himself and take a firm stance on the Iraq War, neither of them are qualified to run for President, because I don't want anymore DLC, Beltway Insiders in the Oval Office, period.

Dear Anonymous:

Come out from hiding and have a real discussion here. Otherwise, if you click on the links provided, as well as Senator Obama's own voting record, not to mention http://www.blackagendareport.com, you will see I am coming forward with the facts, you silly git.

It's easier to be one of those African-Americans who wants to see a Black Face in a High Place who sells us out.

And he's beholden to corporate donors for his campaign runs. That's DLC and the Corporate Arm of the Democratic Party. Come to DC and get a good whiff and quit your armchair quarterbacking if you please.

The fact you're posting Anonymously tells me that you'd rather sling accusations like a monkey slings his own waste in a cage, rather than engaging in debate and providing evidence to disprove what I wrote here. Blogging 101 - back up your writings with evidence or classify your remarks as your opinion. I've done both, Stepin' Fetchit.

YOU PROVE HE VOTED FOR THE BANKRUPCTY BILL...YOU MADE THE ACCUSATION. go to the senate record-he voted AGAINST the bankruptcy bill. Go to the DLC official member list-he's not there they tried to sneak his name on there and he had to politely tell them TWICE to remove it! He's not DLC. Now I know you're determined to take the brother down..so I'm sure you won't let FACTS get in the way of that. But I tell you if it were me I'd start suing folks like you who post these inaccuracies-it is slander.
I don't EVER want my name to be anywhere found on a disingenious lying site like this.

see you never got around to posting FACTS...so lemme help you out bro:
here's the link to the Bankruptcy Bill S 256:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=1&vote=00044

and if you're not inclined to check to see if you're stating truth against the brother here's what it says:
Measure Number: S. 256
Measure Title: A bill to amend title 11 of the United States Code, and for other purposes.
"Obama (D-IL), Nay"
now move on to taking him down with something else which i'm sure you're eager to do. Heck if you can't find anything just MAKE SOMETHING UP LIKE YOU JUST DID.

You're still a silly git; you came back twice after saying you weren't going to come anymore.

Obama bailed on the DLC after he was exposed by Black Commentator. Go Read that.

And he changed his mind on the BK bill after he got lit up by his constituency when it was leaked he was considering voting for it. I stand by what I've written here - you want to drink Obama's kool-aid, feel free to do so. Other wise, you can continue to post here if you want, because I'm not like the President; I still respect one's right to Free Speech - even though we don't agree, and you're still a silly git.

What about Title 7 - cause that's the bill that affect everyone. Chapter 11 is for those like Donald Trump. He voted in favor of Chapter 7 BK, making it more difficult for everyday people with overwhelming debt to get relief. You cited Chapter 11, when it's Chapter seven that's affecting the majority of Americans who need it. Like 60% of Memphians who can't file unless they're flat broke with no assets.

You can't make that stuff up.

You get on my nerves. Always tryna down a brother. People are not as stupid as you think they are, dimwit. It's called the 21st century. We have access to all sorts of information and non information..unfortunately, yours is under the non information category.

Obama has voted over 20 times in suppport of continued war with Iraq. He has voted 5 times to keep the Patriot Act. He voted to gut class action lawsuits. He's had a lot of other bad votes, too. Surprisingly his record is to the right of Hillary's and Hillary's record is pretty bad.

There is still a lot of confusion about Barack Obama out there. He is not to the right of Hillary on his record. In fact, he's far to the left. Making generic statements about votes to "support the war" and "keep the patriot act" is misleading. Those votes were in connection to a wide range of matters. You're generalizing to make the man look bad. That's disingenuous. "over 20 times", "5 times", where are these votes? Please, tell me which bills and votes you are referring to. Because the senate has not to my knowledge voted 5 times on the Patriot Act since Barack's joining the Senate.

Barack Obama most definitely voted against the 2005 Bankruptcy Bill, Senate Bill S-256, 109th Congress Senate vote #44, dated March 10, 2005. He also voted against closure, that is, closing off debate on the bill (Senate vote #29, March 8, 2005.) He also made a floor statement in opposition to the bill Feb. 28, 2005 http://obama.senate.gov/speech/050228-floor_statement/

I LOVE Vichy Democrats! I don't know about DLC backing of Obama, but it wouldn't surprise me due to the speed with which he jumped from the Illinois state legislature to the U.S. Senate, plus his being keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic convention. These horrible people control the Democratic party, and you'd better be their boy or girl, or you'll end up like Cynthia McKinney. We can not expect any genuine change in this country until people want it (they don't seem to really want it, from what I see), and it won't come from the Democratic Party. Why oh why can't we form a meaningful third party and challenge these folks?

Either way, the slamming of Obama is not working. He is about to take down Hillary then replace McCain.
